I am a student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Orana Park Trip
Hello everyone, Today I'm writing about my school trip to Orana Park with the rest of room five and room six. First we went in the parent helpers cars and drove to the park. After that we met the Animal helpers and they gave us a tour of the park. First we visited the frogs, The Tigers, Lions, Lizards, Kiwi and then we learnt about the body parts of different animals that have died and then have been stuffed or dug up like the Lion skull we looked at. We also got to learn about if they were carnivores, herbivores, frugivores and omnivores, If they were a carnivore they would only eat meat, if they were a herbivore they would only eat herbs, if they were a frugivore and they would only eat fruit and if they were an omnivore they would only eat plants, animals, algae and fungi. After we learnt about that we had a break and looked at the rest of the animals such as Gorillas, apes, and other kinds of monkeys I cant remember. We also learnt that a way to show it's your territory they leave their scents by rubbing it on the things around them, spraying the area with their urine and pooping on the territory. After this we went to the giraffes and fed them some leaves, then we went to see the water buffalos, cheetas, bisons, yaks, rhinos, meerkats, otters and the other animals that I can't remember cause we saw a lot. It was an interesting trip and there were a lot of pretty cool animals. Ok anyway here are some pictures that we took. Hope you enjoyed ʕ•́ᴥ•̀ʔっ

Dragon writing T2 W10
Hello everyone today I going to be showing you my dragon writing that I did for descriptive writing, we started learning about how to do different writing things like noun w, DE:DE, 2a sentences, P+P,S+A, all examples, some:others, connectives and generalisers. we also had to have subtitles, like appearance, habitat and the amazing facts. before this we had to pick a color that we wanted our dragon to be and then do a descriptive report on them about, what they look like, what they eat and where they like to live. I picked the blue dragon and wrote my report on it. After I finished that they told us to make up our own dragon and then do another report about them. This is what I did. I also kind of used my information from my other report to help me out with this one. I also did a drawing about this dragon but I didn't get to finish it and now I think it's lost. welp, enjoy my writing:) .
The light blue dragon
The blue dragon is a very rare type of dragon with very extraordinary breathtaking eyes.
Blue dragons are rare themselves but these are on a different level: they say that a light
blue dragon only appears every 100 years. These creatures are very fragile and are protected
at all costs by their family and they can only keep in the air for a certain amount of time before
getting tired.
Appearance
The light blue dragon has a large strong tail with prickly spikes along the sides.
Some light blue dragons have colossal wings; others have enormous horns on the top of their heads.
Each blue dragon will have a rare ability like being able to control their tails, or being able to fly
high in the sky without draining their power. These rare dragons, which have amazing white eyes,
are chosen to make the most important decisions because the blue dragons are sure that they
have appeared for a reason.
Habitat
The light blue dragons like to be around trees and nature, because when they’re surrounded by tall
trees they feel safe and protected from the dangers of the outside world. The light blue dragons sit
below the biggest tree in the forest before making decisions. They like to eat fruits and vegetables
- berries, oranges and bananas - are all examples of foods they like to eat. They love animals and
refuse to harm them.
Amazing Facts
These extraordinary creatures have sharp, white teeth and icy, freezing frosty breath that could
freeze anyone or anything that comes too close. Even though these dragons are guarded and
protected they never seem to be able to get away from trouble.
Did you know that the 4th light blue dragon was taken out by a falling branch.
Dragonologists believe if you are underneath a light blue dragon and it uses it’s frosty breath it
could turn into a hail storm in an instant. These rare dragons are very dangerous but also
surprisingly on the calmer side. The bad news is that hunters will stop at nothing to get a hold
of their claws, apparently they can be worth a lot of money and some people like to collect them.
In short these dragons aren’t safe.
I think I did a pretty decent job on this report but next time I could choose something a little different to write about since this one was kinda similar to my other one.

holy week concertina art
Hello everybody, this week room 5 and 6 have been creating concertina art pieces for R.E and they've all turned out great. The pictures in my one are the cross and the eucharist. I turned out pretty cool and i'm happy with what I created but I think that I could have put more effort into the eucharist part of my art. What do you think? have you created art like this before? well, bye.
